Bike Ride for Black Lives is a community initiative with 3 components:

1)  Pledge to ride 400 miles (~12 miles a day) in July to bring awareness to the 400+ years the Black and African American community has been fighting for social justice. It’s FREE. Simply log your miles by using the hashtag #Bike4BlackLives, tag us on social media (Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter), and post about how you made a social justice impact that day (Say their name, who did you speak up for, keep donating, educate yourself, listen to podcasts, watch documentaries, etc.).

2) A community awareness ride (12 miles) on July 11th starting at Spring Canyon Park to ride in solidarity together, honor the Black Lives Matter movement, and bring awareness to injustices in the criminal justice system. We are bridging gaps with movement and pedaling for progress to bring change along the way.

3) Fundraising for 3 organizations that are actively aiding the movement and 2 museums that are preserving Black history (see Donation page for more info).
